Denis Petrashov sets Kyrgyzstan's swimming record at Tokyo Olympics

AKIPRESS.COM - Swimmer Denis Petrashov has set a new record of Kyrgyzstan at Tokyo Olympics.
Petrashov won the third place in men's 100 m breaststroke in the heat 4 with the result of 1 minute 0.23 seconds. This result is a new record for Kyrgyzstan in this distance.
The previous record of the country of 1 minute and 0.94 seconds was also set by Denis Petrashov at the world swimming championship in summer 2019, where Petrashov won a berth to the Olympic Games.
Denis Petrashov won the 27th place in 100 m distance and did not make it to the semi-final.
