Uzbekistan to receive 3 million doses of coronavirus vaccine from U.S.

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 3 million doses of Moderna coronavirus vaccine will be airlifted to Uzbekistan on July 29 in the framework of COVAX program.
These doses of the Moderna vaccine were donated by the United States, the Embassy of Uzbekistan said.
According to the Centers for Disease and Control Prevention, Moderna vaccine may prevent contraction of COVID-19. Its efficacy rate is more than 94%. Vaccine is administered in persons above 18 years in 2 doses with one-month interval.
Moderna vaccine is stored at regular fridge temperature making it easy to distribute it across all regions of Uzbekistan.
