Rahmon to skip inaguration of President of Iran due to visit to Ashgabat

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will not attend inauguration of President-elect of Iran Ebrahim Raisi due to visit to Ashgabat, Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin told a briefing on July 27.
Rahmon will attend the summit of the Central Asian leaders that will be held on August 6 in Ashgabat.
The official visit will last from August 4 to 6, the Tajik Foreign Ministry said.
Lower Chamber Speaker Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda will attend Raisi's inauguration.
