Kyrgyz freestyle wrestler Ayaal Lazarev has chances to win bronze

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz freestyle wrestler Ayaal Lazarev has kept his chances of winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics in the men's 125kg. Lazarev competed against Gable Steveson from the United States in the 1/8 finals losing early 0-10.
Steveson defeated Taha Akgul of Turkey in the quarterfinals and the Mongolian wrestler in the semifinals.
For Lazarev, it opened up an opportunity to compete for a bronze medal in the repechage tournament.
In the first round of the repechage tournament, Lazarev will fight against athlete from Turkey on Aug. 6.
