Dozens of Afghan government troops flee to Uzbekistan, more soldiers seen on Termez-Hairoton bridge

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan is negotiating with the Afghan side on the return of these citizens to their homeland and the settlement of the situation in the area of ​​the Termez-Hairaton bridge.
Protection of the state border is carried out on enhanced mode, all the necessary security measures are taken. A taskforce has been mobilized in Termez, which includes heads of power structures and representatives of state authorities, the Foreign Ministry added.
