Azerbaijan will build a school and park named after Heydar Aliyev in Bishkek. The Mayor of the capital, Aziz Surakmatov, and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Hidayat Khudush oglu Orujov, signed the relevant memorandums today, on March 7.
Aziz Surakmatov noted that an agreement on construction of the facilities was reached at a meeting of the presidents of the two countries.
"The park named after Heydar Aliyev will appear in the southern part of the city, at the intersection of Baitik Baatyr and Tokombaev streets, the school - in Kok-Dzhar residential area. This is a gift from Azerbaijan to our city. We provide all documentation and engineering communications. Construction and equipment are at the expense of the Azerbaijani side," he noted.
According to him, construction can begin already in the summer of 2019.
Journalists asked the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan how much money was planned to be spent on the construction of two objects.
"As much as it is needed," Hidayat Khudush oglu Orujov answered.
