Tashkent to host Spring festival

From April 20 to May 5 this year, the V International Festival of Opera and Ballet Art "Tashkent Spring" will be held in Tashkent.
Tashkent Spring International Festival, which will be held for the fifth time in the country, is important for further strengthening international cooperation in opera and ballet art, the exchange of experience, demonstration to the audience of the best examples of these types of art.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Art and Culture Development Foundation under this ministry, the State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi, the Friends Club, and the JSC Uzbekneftegaz.
The festival will feature the operas Tricks of Maysara, Aida, Troubadour, La Traviata, and Pearl Fishers. As well as ballet performances of Shaherizada, La Bayadère, Swan Lake, art programs of Tashkent State Higher School of National Dance and Choreography, ballet troupes of the National Opera, Dance and Drama Theater of China, and Tumor National Dance Ensemble. It is expected that artists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and China will take part in the festival.
