Lawmaker proposes to raise salaries for law enforcement employees

AKIPRESS.COM - Lawmaker Urmatbek Samayev proposed to raise salaries for law enforcement employees during the parliament meeting on April 25.
He asked how much the noncommissioned officers get paid in Kyrgyzstan.
Interior Minister Kashkar Junushaliyev said the junior noncommissioned officers get paid 8-12 thousand soms per month.
Samayev asked if that's enough for living.
"We're living, therefore is enough," Minister replied.
MP Samayev said policemen need remuneration in addition to certificates and medals for good job.
