Ex-President Atambayev meets delegation of Vietnam's ruling Communist party

AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-President Almazbek Atambayev met the delegation of the ruling Communist Party of Vietnam, SDPK party secretariat said. Discussions at the meeting focused on cooperation between two countries, SDPK and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
"After collapse of the USSR the ties between Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan were lost. We want to strengthen friendship between our countries, governments and our parties," Nguyen Tuan Phong, head of the delegation, Deputy Head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (rank of Deputy Minister), said.
The SDPK party leader was invited to visit Vietnam with the purpose of strengthening of cooperation.
