AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov checked out the implementation of the Smart City and Safe City projects in Balykchy on May 17 during his working visit to the Issyk-Kul region, his office said.
Former mayor of Balykchy, now the head of the State Registration Service, Almaz Mambetov, made a presentation on these projects. Digitization of some services rendered in Balykchy is under way, he said. Inventory of municipal property is being completed and the implementation of a complex of works on the creation of an Information Automatic System and an inventory of municipal property on the basis of a Geographical Information System started.
3,375,000 soms were spent on this program. 1,580,000 soms were allocated from the Development Fund of the Issyk-Kul region, the remaining funds came from the local budget.
The city will have an electronic registry, electronic map, and electronic platform on municipal property. For 2019, 10 million soms have been provided to finance digitalization. The source of financing is the Development Fund of the Issyk-Kul region. The project Smart Polyclinic will be implemented with the introduction of the "electronic queue" system and installation of the equipment for the electronic queue.
In 2019-2020 academic year, an electronic grade journal system will be introduced in the schools of Balykchy, and a student's social passport will be created. An electronic ambulatory card system will be introduced in the city clinic and hospital.
The Safe City project installed two types of video cameras on the streets of the city. The first camera charges penalties based on data of the hardware-software complex. The second cameras record violations of traffic rules. In addition, in order to ensure public safety, 38 kilometers of fiber-optic cable, 84 video surveillance cameras, have been installed in the city. They are located at the crossroads of large streets, and they broadcast the video online to the Situational Analysis Center at the Balykchy city police station. Thanks to video monitoring, 19 crimes are currently disclosed.
