Issyk-Kul 2019, launch of Tashkent-Tamchy-Tashkent charter flight presented in Tashkent

Tashkent, May 31, 2019. /Kabar/. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Uzbekistan held the Issyk-Kul 2019 presentation and the launch of the Tashkent-Tamchy-Tashkent direct charter flight with the participation of representatives of Uzbek tourism companies on May 30.
Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibragim Junusov said that with a view to further mutual increase of tourists between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan through creation of favorable conditions for transport logistics, with the assistance of the Embassy, INSPIRO TRAVEL (Kyrgyzstan) and ASIA LUX TRAVEL (Uzbekistan) tourism companies jointly with the National Air Company Uzbekistan Airways OJSC are planning to resume charter flights on the Tashkent – Tamchy route for the 2019 summer tourist season from June 27 to September 6.
The Tashkent-Tamchy-Tashkent route will be operated once a week on Thursdays. "More than 1,000 tourists from Uzbekistan used this flight in 2017," the Ambassador said.
The issue of launching the Tashkent - Bishkek - Cholpon-Ata international bus route for the summer tourist season of the current year is under consideration. The flight on the Osh-Tashkent Osh route is at the launch stage.
In addition, the resumption of international bus flights on the Osh-Andijan and Osh-Fergana routes is under study.
"Such joint work creates all the prerequisites for mutual growth of tourists between the two countries," Junusov said.
As part of the launch of this flight, holding an information tour for representatives of Uzbekistan’s media to Kyrgyzstan on June 24-27 this year is planned.
