Russia-Kyrgyzstan exhibition of sculptures to be opened in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 31, 2019. /Kabar/. The Russia-Kyrgyzstan exhibition of sculptures will be opened on June 1 in the Mikhail Frunze House Museum, Assol Moldokmatova, the academician of the Eurasian television academy, Kyrgyz public figure told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
The exhibition will last for a month, the entrance is free for everyone.
"The exhibition will feature the works of Ivan Dubrovin, the Russian sculpture. His works include copies of world works. I invite all citizens and guests of the capital to take in the arts. The cost of the works presented at the exhibition is estimated at $100,000," Moldokmatova said.
She added that Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan will take part in the opening of exhibition.
Viktor Kharchenko, the press secretary of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan thanked Moldokmatova for the organization of cultural events that strengthen friendly relations between the two countries.
Ivan Dubrovin, President of the Russian Sculptors Society, said that his works are made of Ural bronze, which is famous for its durability. "Our first project with my father in Kyrgyzstan was a sculpture of the outstanding Kyrgyz actor Suymonkul Chokmorov and the stele of writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. The upcoming exhibition is a continuation of our long-term cooperation with Moldokmatova," Dubrovin said.
