Atyrau HPP admits fault in mass fish die-off in Ural River

AKIPRESS.COM - The Atyrau heat and power plant has admitted its fault in mass fish die off in the Ural River, chief of the department of fighting fish crimes of the Atyrau regional police Serik Januzakov told mgorod.kz.
According to him, one criminal case on this issue has already been closed as the Atyrau heat and power plant had admitted its fault and paid damages.
The second criminal case was opened against the leadership of the Atyrau Su Arnasy public state enterprise, Januzakov added. Investigation is under way, he said.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the meeting with the Atyrau activists on June 4 that he knows who is blamed for mass fish die off in the Ural River.
