Bishkek, June 14, 2019. /Kabar/. A holding talks on opening the direct flight Bishkek – Delhi is planned at the Kyrgyz-Indian Business Forum, Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic in India Kalybek uulu Bekturgan said at the Kyrgyz-Indian Business Forum.
He said that the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and India makes $37 million, and that's very low, given that India is a large country. "We plan to increase this figure. Kyrgyz businessmen are ready to export honey and dried fruits to India, and Indian citizens love our products very much. In addition, many Indian businessmen are interested in exporting pharmaceuticals to Kyrgyzstan, as we know, this industry in India is very developed," the representative said.
Indian businessmen are also ready to export textiles, leather goods and jewelry to Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyz-Indian Business Forum is held in Bishkek as part of the official visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kyrgyzstan.
