Bishkek, June 14, 2019. /Kabar/. The Indian defense and aerospace company is ready to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan, President of the Mahindra Group Shukla said at the Kyrgyz-Indian Business Forum.
The Indian company operates in the defense and aerospace sectors.
"The fact that military equipment o f India and Kyrgyzstan is since the Soviet era is the common problem for both countries. We need to replace military equipment and improve it. Our company is interested in solving this problem, and it also produces small aircraft that can be used in the tourism sector or for border surveillance. This is my first visit to Kyrgyzstan, and I plan to hold a series of meetings with representatives of the State Committee for Defense Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use and the Investment Promotion Agency to consider issues of cooperation and demand," Shukla said.
Kyrgyz-Indian Business Forum is held in Bishkek as part of the official visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kyrgyzstan.
