More than 5,700 shells found on Arys streets

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 5,700 shells were found on the streets of Arys city, Turkestan region, the press service of governor of the region said.
A total of 1,488 people from Interior Ministry are working in Arys today.
Sappers from the Ministry of Defense consisting of 408 people are carrying out clearing works on the territory of ammunition warehouses, railroad station and the military base.
Residents of Arys were evacuated to Shymkent city and Turkestan districts.
Organizators of the hot line said 15,927 telephone calls were received from the population of the country.
According to the healthcare department of Turkestan region, 277 people sought medical aid, including 74 were hospitalized and 3 died,
Now the Ministry of Defense continues clearing private homes and buildings from shells.
