State Registration Service issues more than half million passports since beginning of year

Bishkek, July 11, 2019. /Kabar/. In the first six months of 2019, the State Registration Service has issued 520 thousand 210 passports (e-ID cards, general civil, diplomatic and service passports), Chairman of the State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Mambetov told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that, the online-services of the Service’s portal.srs.kg were used 546,532 times.
"The largest number of requests were made for fines for traffic violations - 466 thousand 461 and for the availability of a vehicle - 26 thousand 973. There is an activity of requests for a new function on the Service’s portal for checking the validity of vehicle registration documents - 635," he said.
