AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov visited a pavilion of Uzbekistan and the VDBK trade show in Moscow, the Russian government's press service said. Rehabilitation is ongoing in the pavilion now.
"Uzbekistan attaches a great importance to opening of this pavilion. It is incredible pavilion. It conveys spirit and atmosphere of Uzbekistan. It is a huge step for us since we closely cooperate with Uzbekistan concerning various educational and cultural events," Russian Vice Prime Minister Olga Golodets said.
The pavilion will be handed over to Uzbekistan in October 2019.
On May 30, 2019, the governments of Russia and Uzbekistan signed the agreement on creation of the exposition center of Uzbekistan.
The given pavilion was built in 1951-1954.
