Abylgaziev asks Lee Nak-yon to protect strong friendship bridge in Korea

Bishkek, July 18, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev asked South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon to protect strong friendship bridge in Korea.
Abylgaziev noted that the Republic of Korea is a great friend of Kyrgyzstan.
"We have a long history in common. Today we have more than 17 thousand ethnic Koreans - citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Among them are many successful entrepreneurs, scientists, athletes and public figures, of whom Kyrgyzstan is proud. As you noted yesterday, local young people are very actively interested in the culture of the Korean people, studying the Korean language, more than ever before pop music and Korean serials are very popular in our country," Abylgaziev said.
He noted that there are more than six Kyrgyz citizens in Korea, including 400 students who study in advanced universities of Korea.
"I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to protect our strong bridge of friendship in Korea," the Kyrgyz prime minister said.
