AKIPRESS.COM - Petroleum in Kazakhstan was found to be the cheapest than in a number of European countries, RIA Novosti said. The price for AI-95 brand is in average 169.35 tenge ($0.44).
The top 3 countries includes Belarus, where gasoline costs about 52 rubles (315.64 tenge/$0.82) per liter.
The fourth place on petrol cheapness is held by Ukraine, where 1 liter of petrol (AI-95) costs 74.7 rubles (453.43 tenge/ $1.18).
The other countries in the ranking with cheaper price for gasoline are mainly western Europe.
Kazakhstan in the ranking is also a leader on low price for diesel fuel - 31.9 rubles per 1 liter ($0.50). Russia is on 2nd place in this direction - 46.1 rubles per 1 liter ($0.73).
In terms of accessibility of petroleum for the population, Kazakhstan was placed 18th in the ranking of the European countries.
