Bishkek to host first meeting of Council on Relations with Compatriots Abroad

Bishkek, July 31, 2019. / Kabar /. The first meeting of the Council on Relations with Compatriots Abroad under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held in Bishkek on Aug. 1 - 2, Daniyar Imanaliev, the head of the department for policy of strategic development, economics and finance of the President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic told.
Compatriots from Russia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, South Korea, the USA, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates will take part in its work. Participation is provided including through online resources.
Daniyar Imanaliev noted that this Council was formed in order to form an effective dialogue between government bodies and compatriots abroad, creating mechanisms for their return to their homeland and the participation of compatriots in the development of the country.
He stressed that a meeting of compatriots with government bodies and work in sections, according to the agenda, is expected on Aug. 1.
On Aug. 2, the Council’s meeting will be held under the chairmanship of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, at which the Concept of Migration Policy, the Meken-Card Initiative and the Mekenim program will be discussed, aimed at creating economic and financial instruments for the investment and participation of our compatriots in the development of the country.
In addition, other issues of migration policy will be discussed.
