Following the talks between Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, three documents will be signed in agricultural sphere: 2 agreements and 1 roadmap, Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic Erkinbek Choduev told Kabar Agency.
He said that the first agreement is between the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan on plant quarantine. "Since we are members of the EAEU, we must comply with the terms of the Union. And the conditions are slightly different. And we both commit ourselves to fulfill all the requirements of this agreement," the minister said.
"The second is an intergovernmental agreement on the supply of mineral fertilizers," said Choduev.
The minister noted that the third agreement is an interministerial roadmap. "Today there are many questions, and an operational group will be created to quickly resolve these problems. This group will discuss issues of leasing, export and import of agricultural products, etc. Also, when exporting products to Russia, there is a need to build a joint logistics center. And with the signing of this roadmap, the interministerial group will begin to work on a feasibility study," he explained.
