Atambayev's son says his mother and him were in Issyk-Kul during storming in Koi-Tash

AKIPRESS.COM - Kadyr Atambayev said that his mother and him were in Issyk-Kul on August 7-8, Novye Litsa outlet said.
"I heard about the events as soon as news started appearing on media. For us, this was not the first force majeure of this kind. We remember 2010, the same things happened back then. But we are strong-willed enough, my father taught us to never give up, therefore we keep heads up," he said.
There was a maximum number of people in the backyard of his father's home during the storming, he noted.
Former President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev was detained by police on August 8 and charged with corruption after second storming of his house in Koi-Tash. The first storming by SWAT soldiers on August 7 left dozens injured and 1 law enforcement officer dead.
