Mini-football champions of int’l tournament in China greeted solemnly in Osh

Osh, Aug.14, 2019 /Kabar/. The solemn meeting of the champions in mini-football among juniors, who won the first place at the International Tournament in Linxia city, China took place in Osh yesterday, Aug. 13.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the city Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, coaches, athletes and relatives of the champions. The participants congratulated the young players on their gold medals, noting their contribution to the development of sports in Osh and football in particular.
"We are completely satisfied with the result. The guys showed all their skills. I would like to note that in 2018 our guys in the age group U-16 and U-18 became the champions of the republic in futsal. This year they took the second place in the republican futsal tournament," said Uchkun Abdyjapar uulu, coach of the Osh mini-football team.
Colorful dream world games competitions among juniors on Olympic kinds of sports took place in Linxia city (China) on Aug. 5-9.
Athletes from more than 17 countries took part in 10 sports competitions. The national mini football team of Kyrgyzstan’s Osh took part in these competitions.
In the group round the Kyrgyzstanis won all the meetings: with the PRC team - 9:2, Thailand - 5:3, Tajikistan - 6:0.
In the semifinals, the Osh team beat the Nepalese players with a score of 3:1. The Kyrgyz footballers won over the Thai team 2-1 in the final.
