President Tokayev offers tough measures in fighting corruption

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on August 19 at the meeting with Chairman of the anti-corruption agency Alik Shpekbayev stressed the introducing the institute of resignation of the high-ranked state bodies for corruption, Akorda press service reported. The head of state at the meeting was briefed on the works and measures of the agency as a result of 7 months of 2019.
Shpekbayev told the President about formation of 5 new departments in the agency on prevention of corruption in state bodies, including in the judicial ones.
Upon conclusion, Tokayev ordered to toughen responsibility for illegal publication and information of the state bodies about incomes and expenditures.
