Schools of Issyk-Kul Oblast switch to e-format

Cholpon-Ata, Aug.23, 2019. /Kabar/. Issyk-Kul Oblast is at the stage of involvement in digitalization. At the August Pedagogical Conference Head of the Balykchy Town Department of Education Nurgul Mambetova told about the steps that are being taken in this direction.
She noted the relevant works are carried out within the framework of the Year of Digitalization in cooperation with the local government.
"The Issyk-Kul Development Fund has allocated KGS 7 million, on the basis of which we plan to open the Smart School Programme in all schools," she said.
The initiative includes electronic diaries, electronic journals and improved relations with public and with parents.
She assured that everything will be ready by the end of the year.
Director of Kolesnikov Secondary School in Semyonovka village, Issyk-Kul region, where 700 children are educated, Almaz Kalpakov also noted that innovations are being introduced in their school.
"This year we want to introduce electronic diary journals, and I think we'll finish it by September, we've already started to enter data," he said.
