Regional prosecutor says Almazbek Atambayev owns illegally allocated land plot in Issyk-Kul

AKIPRESS.COM - Prosecutor of Issyk-Kul region Belek Mamatbayev while reporting on court trials on land plots allocated to the Frunze-Resort company said that one of the land plots is registered to Almazbek Atambayev, Turmush reports. According to him, 2.63 ha of land that was given illegally to the company today belong to Atambayev.
Mamatbayev said that the investigations on illegally allocated lands in the region were initiatiated due to the rising demands for land plots in Issyk-Kul as it is a favorable zone for recreational and tourist activities over the part years.
In this regard, the raids reveal the facts of illegal allocation of land plots to individuals and companies, he noted.
Some 65 legal actions as a result of investigation were returned to the local self-government bodies in the amount of 20.2 ha, the prosecutor said.
Deputy director of the anti-corruption service of the National Security Committee Talantbek Kojonov reported that 4.6 ha of land were illegally allocated to the Frunze-Resort for the purposes not related to the state or social needs as a result of illegal actions of local authorities.
2.63 ha out of 4.6 ha of land plots are now registered to the name of Almazbek Atambayev. While 1.98 ha belong to Frunze-Resort.
According to the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan, the founder of the JSC Frunze-Resort is Bolotbek Altymyshev. The company passed the procedure of re-registration on October 8, 2018. It is specialized in construction of residential and non-residential buildings.
