Kyrgyz servicemen take part in exercises in Combat Commonwealth 2019

Bishkek, Sept. 4, 2019. / Kabar /. Military exercises "Combat Commonwealth-2019" of the Air Force and Aerospace Forces of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia are conducting as part of the joint air defense system of the CIS member states, from August 27, 2019 at the Saryshagan training ground of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan and the Ashuluk training ground of the Astrakhan region of Russia.
The contingents of the CIS participating countries — Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan — sent their contingents to the Ashuluk training ground. In the course of the exercises, issues of the joint use of an aviation group and an air defense force during combat operations in the collective security region are worked out.
During the exercises, a tactical episode will be played out to repulse a massive missile-air strike of a conditional enemy using fighter, attack, bomber and long-range aircraft, as well as live firing from anti-aircraft missile systems on target missiles designating high-altitude, low-altitude and ballistic air targets.
In total, more than 2000 military personnel take part in the Combat Commonwealth-2019, more than 200 units of military and special equipment of the airborne forces.
The exercise will end on September 18, 2019.
