Bishkek hosts regular meeting of Kyrgyz-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission

Bishkek, Sept.16, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz capital Bishkek hosts a plenary session of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation.
The agenda of the Commission is issues of trade and economic cooperation, cooperation in the field of industry and energy.
Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Health, curator of the Commission’s organization Kosmosbek Cholponbayev said today is the fourth Kyrgyz-Turkmen meeting of this format.
"In these intergovernmental commissions, we note the priority areas that need to be strengthened between our countries. As a result, one protocol of intergovernmental agreement, which includes directions of cooperation, will be signed. The main issue is that there is need to increase mutual trade. It turns out that we have a great potential," he said.
The Business Forum between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan kicked off this morning in Bishkek. The event is attended by 37 entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan and more than 100 from Kyrgyzstan.
