President Tokayev offers to hold CIS forums on modern technologies

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the CIS summit in Ashgabat proposed to hold the CIS forums on modern technologies and develop the electronic trade, Belta news agency reports. According to him, dynamic development of technologies changes the landscape of life of the member states.
The head of state underlined the importance of exchanging knowledge and experience, as well as joining efforts of the member states in this sphere.
In this regard, the Kazakh President urged to hold special forums of the CIS countries on modern technologies constantly.
The summit of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council is running in Ashgabat. The session is attended by Presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Armenia is represented by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
As a result of the summit, the participants plan to adopt the declaration on strategic economic cooperation of the CIS member states initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
