Kazakhstan's Bank CenterCredit, EBRD sign framework agreement

AKIPRESS.COM - The JSC Bank CenterCredit of Kazakhstan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said they signed a framework agreement on a joint participation in the projects of Kazakhstan by sharing risks, Zakon.kz reported.
The signed document was developed as part of the EBRD's global risk sharing programme, under which the EBRD is involved in corporate projects through providing guarantees to commercial banks covering 50% of the risk on borrowers.
"I am pleased to sign the agreement and support all the efforts of CenterCredit Bank on risk sharing," Bruno Balvanera, managing director for Central Asia at the EBRD said following the signing.
The agreement is another milestone for the long-standing fruitful cooperation among CenterCredit Bank and the EBRD, based on the principles of responsibility, respect, as well as trust.
