AKIPRESS.COM - Tajik security services detained a resident of the Tash-Tumshuk village in the Batken region, who allegedly illegally crossed the border, said MO Taabaldy Tillyaev at the parliament meeting on Oct 30. According to him, 34-years-old Kyrgyzstani Asylbek Karimov was detained by security services of a neighboring country.
"Batken has no borders, people have lived there without them for centuries, so we don't understand the actions of our neighbors now," said Tillayev.
Lawmaker asked the speaker to give instructions to facilitate the return of Kyrgyz citizens, as well as to conduct awareness raising campaign with local residents.
