President Berdimuhamedov hold talks with Italian PM

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Italy Giuseppe Conte held the talks in Rome as part of the official visit of the Turkmen leader to Italy, the state news agency TDH reports.
The sides noted a positive dynamics in bilateral relations, common positions on important global development issues.
The Turkmen President noted several projects in which Italian companies are participating and suggested to boost cooperation in such areas as energy security, creation of alternative transit corridors and transport routes in Eurasia.
The Turkmen President also took a note of the contribution of Italian scholars and archaeologists in carrying out archaeological digs in Turkmenistan for many years, exploring the historic places and centers of development of the world civilizations.
The prospects of cooperation in trade, economic areas were considered. The sides supported the idea to boost cooperation in education, science and culture.
