AKIPRESS.COM - The residents of the Chalma village in Kara-Kuldja district came out for introduction of 5 year moratorium on shooting pheasants and partridges at the meeting of hunters with villagers. The villagers requested to not to shoot birds for 5 years, which may lead to increase of their population. "The district hunters held competitions in target shooting, because the terms of the permits has expired this year. Chalma villagers proposed to introduce moratorium on the shooting and we hope that in the future this initiative will be supported by residents of neighboring villages,"said one of the meeting participants Ulukbek Omokeyev.
