Tokayev outraged over poor condition of roadside toilets

AKIPRESS.COM - A poor condition of roadside toilets outraged President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his working visit to Kokshetau city, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
"We always say that Akmola region has a great natural and recreational resourses and cultural heritage facilities. But its tourist potential has not yet fully developed," the President said at the meeting.
As of today, tourism contribution to the gross regional product does not exceed 0.5%.
There are huge factors that halt the tourist flow, according to President.
"What service we can talk about, if we can not put in order the most important thing - roadside toilets - that are in terrible condition," Tokayev said.
The head of state ordered the Ministry and other relevant bodies to take measures to resolve problems he outlined.
Tokayev earlier told that the forum of interregional cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia will be held in Kokshetau in 2020.
