President Mirziyoyev visits Islamic Civilization Center

AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the construction site of the Islamic Civilization Center, the president's press service said. The Center will host a library with the collection of up to 100,000 manuscripts, information resource center, science departments.
The Center will serve as the fundamental basis for research institutions of such kind, President Mirziyoyev said. Local and international specialists will carry out research projects there. The Center will help consolidate knowledge for faculty and students of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, he added.
"This Center will serve our people for centuries. This is why each its pattern should become a part of history. Its decoration and content should be well thought from Islamic and scientific perspectives. It is necessary not only to create a comfortable environment for obtaining knowledge, but also the atmosphere that will stir up hearts," the President stated.
