AKIPRESS.COM - Kremlin pilots, who landed the plane of Russian President Vladimir Putin in heavy fog in Bishkek, were presented cherry pie as a gratitude, Life.ru reported citing the press secretary of the presidential administration Yelena Krylova.
She says they have a tradition to give a cherry pie made by the Kremlin pastry chef to all those who save lives, who do their job excellently and for just good people.
Putin and other heads of CSTO member states arrived in Bishkek on November 28 for the CSTO summit.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, whose plane could not land due to the fog in Bishkek, also attended the meeting. His plane landed in Almaty and then came to Bishkek.
