Uzbek Interior Minister distributes gas cylinders after gas and power outage protests

AKIPRESS.COM - Interior Minister of Uzbekistan Pulat Bobojonov visited Syrdarya region, where he met citizens reporting about problems and gave orders to address them. 30 reports from almost total 50 were sustained and addressed, the Interior Ministry's press service said.
During visit to Mirzaabad district, the Interior Minister distributed gas cylinders to people complaining about electricity and gas outages.
Uzbekistan faced energy crisis with coming of a cold weather. Many citizens complain about gas and power outages. Interruptions in gas and electricity supply were reported in Tashkent. People in several regions of the country protested against power and gas outages and blocked the roads.
