New Year celebrations for children held in Bishkek to celebrate ethnic diversity

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Agency for Local Self-Government and Ethnic Relations in cooperation with the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan held a New Year party for children on December 28. More than 300 children from ethnic associations of the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan and children from poor families were invited for the event.
Director of State Agency for Local Self-Government and Ethnic Relations Bahtiyar Saliev and Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan Abdygany Erkebaev addressed the kids.
The children were offered a concert by creative groups of the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan, New Year songs, a New Year fairy-tale performance.
Children received New Year gifts at the end of the event.
