Football center to be erected outside Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan and Sokuluk district administration have reached agreement on allocation of a land plot for construction of the football center.
The land plot lies near the south-western outskirts behind the Archa-Beshik micro-district.
The Football Federation has earlier asked to provide 10 ha in the southern part of Bishkek, but the Bishkek local council has not solved this matter. The session was postponed until 14 January 2020. The Football Federation said the international organizations would provide $10 million grant for construction of the center in case the land plot is provided before 31 December 2019.
"All issues need to be addressed normally, without pressure and ultimatums. We asked the documents from the Football Federation proving a grant will be provided, but have not received anything. The issue of construction of a center is open, we will continue the talks with the Federation," Bishkek mayor Aziz Surakmatov told reporters today.
