Uzbekistan sells vanity car plates for over $16 million in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - Over 36,300 vanity car plates were sold via the online auction for over $16.3 million in 2019 in Uzbekistan. The cheapest vanity plates cost $100, the most expensive were sold at $9,500, UzA reports.
The sale of vanity plates in Uzbekistan was launched in September 2017. The average price for vanity plate exceeded $2,000 in the first 3 months after launch of such option.
