President Tokayev orders Interior Ministry to tighten control over situation in Jambyl region

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev met with Interior Minister Yerlan Turgumbayev, who reported about the efforts made to stabilize the situation in Kordai district, Jambyl region, Akorda reported.
The President ordered the Interior Ministry to tighten control over the situation in the region and ensure public order and safety making recurrence of the incidents undermining security of citizens and reputation of the country impossible.
Those guilty of disturbance of public order, participants of riots leading to human and property losses, should be held accountable according to the law, the President demanded.
