MP challenges ability of government’s nominee for Vice PM to cope with duties

AKIPRESS.COM - The ability of the government's hopeful for Vice Prime Minister Akram Madumarov to cope with his tasks was challenged in Parliament today. "Will be a person with veterinarian education able to handle border related issues?" MP Dastan Bekeshev (SDPK) asked during consideration of the nomination today.
"This candidate has university degrees in veterinary science and diplomacy. He has experience of work in Batken region. He has good knowledge of all problems in Batken region. He used to hold the district and region governor posts. This is why we have chosen him," the Prime Minister responded.
