Defense capability of CSTO countries to be enhanced in view of situation in Afghanistan - Shoigu

AKIPRESS.COM - Resolution of situation in Afghanistan requires urgent decisions and international cooperation, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"Necessary actions will be undertaken in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to enhance defense capability of participating countries in new settings," Minister Shoigu said at the Moscow Conference on International Security.
The Minister suggested use of capacity of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization which includes all countries bordering with Afghanistan, including Pakistn and Iran.
