29yo man died in Bishkek after infection of antibiotics purchased at market

AKIPRESS.COM - A 29-year-old man died in outpatient clinic in Ala-Too district in Bishkek after ceftriaxone injection, Public Health Department Chief Baktygul Ismailova told AKIpress. "The man came to receive injection in accordance with medical prescription on June 16. He received ceftriaxone injections before. He was skin tested prior to administration of antibiotics, was made shot and then he felt bad," Baktygul Ismailova said.
All necessary assistance was provided to the man, she added.
"The police arrived and seized medicine. The wife of the man said ceftriaxone was bought at the Osh bazaar. Police visited the seller and seized the medicine for examination. The results of autopsy are expected in a month," she said.
