Xi Jinping thanks Shavkat Mirziyoyev for support and aid

AKIPRESS.COM - The Chinese President thanked the President of Uzbekistan for condolences and support to the people of China.
"As they say, when someone is in trouble, help is coming from everywhere. The international community, Uzbekistan inclusive, expressed sympathies, condolences and support to the Chinese government and people in a variety of ways, which demonstrated friendly feelings to us," Xi Jinping said in his message addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.
Xi Jinping said China is confident and is able to overcome the virus and is ready to cooperate with the international community to make contribution in the global health care.
The Chinese leader vowed to further pay a big attention to development of bilateral ties.
President Mirziyoyev ordered earlier to dispatch humanitarian aid to China to support the efforts of the government of China to restrain coronavirus.
The aid included disposable face masks, medical gloves, medical uniforms, medical gauze, protective coveralls.
