Emergency service like 911 to be launched in Almaty until end of 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - A public safety answering point that will be receiving phone calls about offences, crimes and emergency situations will be created in Almaty, Sputnik Kazakhstan said.
According to chief of the center for dispatching control of the police department of Almaty Andrey Kvashnin, the first phase will be launched by the end of 2020.
The issue of creation of the single public safety answering point 112 in cooperation with the city administration is being considered today, he noted.
According to Kvashnin, the service will be looking much like a foreign 911. This will allow to improve the efficiency of work and provide more immediate respond of the rescue departments of the city to the appeals of residents.
