President Tokayev meets with supreme mufti of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with supreme mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan Nauryzbai kazhy Taganguly during his visit to the mosque Eziret Sultan, spokesman of the President Berik Uali told on Facebook.
The head of state congratulated the newly appointed mufti and wished him successes in his work.
The two at the meeting discussed preservation of harmony and stability in the country. The President stressed the importance of tolerance through the religion, the need of spiritual orientation of religious movements in the country.
Kazakhstanis should be called for unity, the President noted.
