President Rahmon attends event devoted to 27th anniversary of Tajik Armed Forces Day

AKIPRESS.COM - President Emomali Rahmon attended the gala event celebrating the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, which took place at the Kokhi Borbad Palace on February 22, the official media report.
President shared his thoughts regarding the formation of the Armed Forces and passing the most difficult trials to its transforming into an organized, powerful and reliable structure which protects the people of Tajikistan.
The head of state noted that due to the efforts and aspiration of the courageous and patriotic people, the constitutional order in Tajikistan was restored and a favorable foundation was laid for peace, tranquility, political stability, and condition for further development of various economic and social spheres.
"We always honor the memory of those courageous sons who laid down their lives to restore the constitutional order, and worked toward protecting the borders of our country. We will never forget their names and deeds," said Emomali Rahmon.
