AKIPRESS.COM - Former State Security Service Chairman Ihtiyor Abdullaev got one year in addition to 18-year prison term.
The military court of Uzbekistan sentenced Abdullaev to 18 years in prison on September 27, 2019.
The court found him guilty of organization of a crime group, bribe taking, signing deals contrary to the interests of Uzbekistan, extortion and appropriation of property belonging to others.
Abdullaev was also found guilty of violation of customs regulations in a large scale via power abuse.
The military court today attended one year to the 18-year prison sentence for Abdullaev.
